In East Africa, you'll find the iconic Savanna and wilderness of Kenya. A country where tradition, nature and wildlife can turn anyone into a believer. After all, its home to the epic rolling hills and grasslands of the Masai Mara National Reserve. It's here that herds of animals roam against a backdrop of masai villages and lion's roar with lofty snow-capped peaks in the distance.
The Masai Mara is a protected piece of land along the border of Tanzania and Kenya. Discover the raw beauty of this region on an early morning hot air balloon ride. As the sun rises you soar above the magical plains, while herds of animals dash across the landscape. Seal these newly made memories with a champagne toast at breakfast. For a closer peek at Masai Mara's majestic beasts set off on a game drive along with lions lazing around in the tall grass.
Some of the other sites you'll see include grazing zebras, elephants, cheetahs, gangly giraffes, and hippos submerged in the river. Although this National Reserve is renowned for its wildlife, the nearby area is dotted with Masai villages where you can learn more about the history of the Maasai people along with their way of life through traditions they share with you.

Other top destinations include Lake Nakuru, home to a stunning flock of lesser and greater Flamingos, turning the lakeshores into a magnificent pink stretch. The park has diverse species of over 400 birds such as White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa where you can see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild's Giraffe.
Amboseli in southern Kenya offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain and is host to many wild animals including spotted hyena, large herds of elephants and wild dogs. Samburu in northern Kenya is home to animals that are unique to this part of Kenya including the beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Grevy's zebra, and gerenuk, a long-necked antelope that feeds while standing on its hind feet.
The Kenya Coast is more than just a destination, with its immaculate beaches, marine life, coastal conservancies, historical landmarks, people, culture, and so much more. The beaches have been voted as some of the best in the world by the global tourism press.
